The DEI Foundations (Level 2) 8-week online course will equip learners with the core competencies they need to meet the challenges of this changing world of work so none of us get left behind.
Developed for managers, HR professionals, and emerging DEI practitioners who have a foundational understanding of DEI concepts, and are looking for practical ways to apply these concepts in workplace processes and practices. The course focuses on the talent lifecycle, from recruiting talent through onboarding, compensation, talent assessment and development, and deploying talent to new roles in the organization, all from the perspective of DEI practitioners. Participants will learn how they can support DEI at every stage of the talent lifecycle, with an emphasis on case studies and interactive learning with other participants in the cohort.
(Please note: this course is a continuation of Level 1 - DEI Foundations, but professionals with experience and training in DEI concepts may be approved to register for Level 2 without having completed Level 1 on a case-by-case exception basis.)

"This program has helped me synthesize storytelling and listening. We talk a lot about telling, cultivating, and sharing our diversity stories, but I've found that the hardest work and the most transformative work is being able to listen to other peoples'." —President & Founder

LEARN FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS
The DEI Foundations Course (Level 2) is designed to increase participants' DEI acumen by showing them how diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) issues exist throughout the Talent Lifecycle. Participants will learn how every phase of the Talent Lifecycle can be viewed through a DEI lens. They will better understand how to identify opportunities to improve each phase of the Talent Lifecycle by avoiding unconscious bias and providing a more inclusive process. And as part of their final project, they will engage with others in their organization or industry to learn how these concepts apply directly to real-world workplace situations.
